How to choose High Quality LED Tube?

From the LED Tube structure, most people can get the main factors which effects on the tube quality: LED chip and power supply. But there’s also another important factor: Aluminum PCB board.

1.    LED chip: For led tube, most factories choose SMD led chips: SMD3528, SMD5050, SMD3014, SMD2835.

There's heat sink on the SMD2835 SMD3014 LED chips, but no heat sink on

SMD2835> SMD3014> SMD3528>SMD5050

SMD5050 led chips is worse than SMD3528 and harder to control the lumen decay.

Working hours suggestion:

LED SMD 3528 no more than 8 hours working continuously

LED SMD 5050 no more than 8 hours working continuously

LED SMD 3014 no more than 14 hours working continuously

LED SMD 2835 better heat dissipation than LED SMD 3014

Some choose Taiwan brand led chips and some choose China produced led chips. Then absolutely caused different prices, also different qualities.

2.    LED Driver: It’s the heart of led lamps. Can be Isolated driver or non-isolated driver. Different qualities will cause 1.7-2.5USD cost differ.

3.    Aluminum PCB board: much better heat dissipation effect than FR4 board. This is also an important factor on quality and price.
